This website is developed to promote my interests and share my thoughts on political and economic developments in Eastern European and Eurasian countries. I am eager to find other like-minded thinkers as well as those with opposing views.

My area of specialization is international relations and comparative politics. My sphere of interest covers the democratic transitions and hybrid regimes in Eastern Europe, Eurasia and Baltics. Specifically, I would like to focus my future research primarily on democratization in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.

Also, I am interested in such concepts as political culture, national identity and civil participation and their impact on the democratic transition in various countries across the world.

As Ukraine nears possible EU membership, Ukraine-EU relations become of even greater interest to me. I would like to explore the influence of international organizations, such as Common Economic Space, GUAAM, WTO and NATO in the region.
